A low pressure trough scours out remaining tropical moisture. While the White Mountains could see a few showers through the weekend, valley floors stay dry. Tucson reaches the upper 90s with mostly sunny skies heading into the weekend.
Temperatures return to triple digit territory as soon as Saturday & likely stays there for the official start of the Monsoon. High pressure approaching from Baja California leads to the hottest stretch of weather we’ve seen so far this year. The middle of next week could feature daytime highs in the 104-108° range across Pima County.
Overnight lows the next several nights drop to the low to mid 70s.
