High pressure directly over the state leads to the 44th 100° day of 2015. Today’s forecast high of 107° is 10° above average & one degree shy of tying the record high set on this date in 2009. Mostly sunny skies prevail for much of southern Arizona, with only a 10% chance of afternoon storms along the International Border.
The thunder threat returns to the Old Pueblo tomorrow, with Tucson standing a 20% chance of storms. Friday could be the most active day out of the next 7, with a 30% chance of storms area-wide. Isolated storms remains the call this weekend and early next week.
