Tomorrow – 10% chance of storms. 101°, west wind 10 MPH.
One more dry day for much of southern Arizona.
High pressure parked west of San Diego continues to drive in dry air from the northwest. Mostly sunny skies are on tap for Tucson this afternoon as highs reach the 100s. There is a 10% chance of storms along the International Border, stretching from Nogales to Douglas.
Monsoon moisture slowly trickles in from the south over the next few days. Isolated storms are possible tomorrow into the weekend, with areas south & east of Tucson being the favored areas. High pressure shifts east of the state early next week, pumping in deeper moisture & fueling a better chance of scattered storms. Monday and Tuesday’s rain chances currently sit at 30% for Metro Tucson.
