So what’s behind the first above average yearly rainfall total in four years? Three elements.

1) An unusually wet January

2) The influx of tropical systems & their impacts on Monsoon 2015

3) A strong El Niño in the eastern Pacific

The forecast for Winter remains unchanged. We’ll likely add to this total to wrap up the year.
