Friday’s Tucson Forecast: Temperatures retreat to seasonal normals

Today – Mostly sunny. 68°, west-northwest wind 5-10 MPH.

Tonight – Mostly clear. 38°, southeast wind 5 MPH.

Tomorrow – Mostly sunny. 68°, northwest wind 5-10 MPH.

Prices aren’t the only thing dropping on this Black Friday.

Temperatures run 4-6° cooler than yesterday. In the wake of a cold front, highs reach the mid to upper 60s under mostly sunny skies. Lows overnight drop into the 30s for much of southern Arizona. A few places in the Sulphur Springs Valley may reach the freezing mark by daybreak Saturday.

Thanks to a stalled storm system, few weather changes are on tap for the rest of the holiday weekend. Highs both Saturday and Sunday run a few degrees below average for late November.

High pressure emerges over the southwest the middle of next week, bringing a slight warming trend. Afternoon high temps peak in the 70s as early as Wednesday with mostly sunny skies.
