Metro Tucson wakes up to the low to mid 30s Sunday morning, according to 4WARN Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Tucson’s east side, Avra Valley, Green Valley, Corona de Tucson and Vail likely drop to the freezing mark overnight. Temperatures rebound to the mid 60s Sunday afternoon under sunny skies.
A stalled low pressure center over Nevada and Utah finally lifts north early this week. The Old Pueblo will still see overnight lows at or near the freezing mark, but daytime highs rebound to the 70s by Wednesday. High pressure building over the state cranks up gusty winds Thursday. Another round of breezes is on tap next Saturday as a storm system approaches.
