Gusty winds headline your Thursday weather.
High pressure building over the state increases the pressure gradient. Because of the large atmospheric pressure difference over a small area, easterly breezes up to 20 MPH are possible for some locations today. These breezes remain in place through the afternoon in areas like Vail, Corona de Tucson & Douglas.
Daytime highs reach the mid 70s in Tucson this afternoon, running 7-9° above average for early December.
Ample sunshine & 70° temps are locked in place through the middle of next week. While afternoon temperatures run above normal, overnight lows should be seasonably cool. Metro Tucson bottoms out in the low 40s the next several nights.
