Partly cloudy skies prevail this afternoon. Daytime highs reach in the upper 70s the next few days, with more sunshine breaking out tomorrow. Overnight lows drop to the low 40s metro-wide with mostly clear skies.
Peak of the warmth this week arrives Wednesday and Thursday, as the Old Pueblo skyrockets to the low 80s under ample sunshine.
Models indicate a significant pattern change heading into the weekend. A cold front approaches by Friday, touching off gusty winds and a few rain/mountain snow showers. Isolated showers continue early Saturday with highs struggling to reach 60°. Lows bottom out in the 30s by daybreak Saturday and Sunday.
