Another “Chamber of Commerce” weather day in store.
High pressure over the state keeps skies sunny. Metro Tucson reaches the mid to upper 60s for high temps this afternoon, followed by overnight lows in the low to mid 30s. A few clouds slide into the state after midnight.
Friday features a cold front clipping eastern Arizona. Partly cloudy skies prevail for southern Arizona, with the White Mountains possibly seeing a few snow showers. Places like Hannagan Meadow may pick up a quick inch of snow. Valley floors remain dry as highs reach the mid 60s. West winds up to 15 MPH are expected tomorrow afternoon.
Temperatures are slated to reach the 70s as early as Monday. Models hint at a storm system passing north of the area the middle of next week, leaving the southern half of the state under mostly cloudy skies.
