Tomorrow – Sunny, breezy. 67°, ENE wind 10-20 MPH.
From freezing cold to near record heat in a matter of days.
Temperatures rebound to the low 60s this afternoon. Gusty winds up to 20 MPH are possible out of the northeast today as a weak storm system kicks through the state. Lows tonight drop to the low to mid 30s metro-wide.
Breezes may return Friday and Saturday as a second trough sweeps across Arizona. High pressure takes over after that, driving a big warming trend. Highs range from the low 70s Saturday to the low 80s Monday. Tucson’s forecast high of 80° Monday afternoon is a degree shy of tying the record set in 2006.
Sunny skies rule through the middle of next week, with overnight lows rising well above the freezing mark in Tucson.
