Breezes stick around for one more day, but the 80s are here to stay.
Expect easterly gusts to 20 MPH this afternoon, according to 4WARN Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. High temperatures run 11-13° above average today, with Metro Tucson peaking in the low 80s. Breezes ease after sunset as overnight lows drop to the mid 40s.
Lighter winds prevail tomorrow as high pressure takes full control of the forecast. Daytime highs through early next week reach the low to mid 80s with ample sunshine. Some high cloud cover moves in from Baja California on Sunday and Monday.
Mild overnight lows are possible this weekend, with mid to upper 40s across the valley floors of eastern Pima County.

Amigo Wash Fire, captured yesterday near Arivaca by Anne Huemer Morales. The problem is three fold along the border: likely overgrowth in vegetation, a month long streak without a good soaking rain & gusty winds. Thankfully for those fighting the flames, the winds relax tomorrow.
