A gem of a forecast in the Old Pueblo.
High pressure continues its stay over the western US. As a result, daytime highs will make a run at the record books. Today’s forecast of 84° would tie the record set in 1951, while tomorrow’s forecast high of 86° would tie the record set in 1988. Plenty of sunshine remains in place heading into the weekend.
Early next week continues to look warm, with a second area of high pressure developing off the Pacific coast. By Tuesday and Wednesday, daytime highs will threaten record territory. Expect low to mid 80s much of the upcoming work week with no rain in sight.
