The average high this time of year is 70°. Today marks the first time since February 7th we’ll be close to that mark.
Highs this afternoon reach the low 70s. Mostly sunny skies prevail, with winds today lighter than yesterday. Areas east of Tucson could experience NW winds gusting up to 20 MPH.
By tomorrow, high pressure expands across the West Coast. As a result, gusty east winds develop during the late morning & early afternoon hours. Winds max out around 25 MPH, dropping off after lunchtime Wednesday. Daytime highs tomorrow top out in the mid 70s.
Just in time for Rodeo Weekend, a new stretch of 80° days resumes. Highs Thursday through Sunday reach the low to mid 80s, peaking the first half of the weekend. Ample sunshine is expected through early next week.
