Highs peak in the upper 80s this afternoon. Cloud cover increases through the daytime hours, with partly cloudy skies by this evening. Lows drop to the mid 50s across Metro Tucson.
A cold front quickly sweeps through the desert tomorrow morning, potentially bringing a few stray sprinkles. More sunshine prevails Saturday afternoon, but high temps struggle to reach the upper 60s. Occasional wind gusts to 20 MPH are possible for the first half of Saturday.
Next week features a developing dome of high pressure off the West Coast. The Old Pueblo benefits with sunshine and highs returning to the 80s as early as Monday.
