Daytime highs peak in the mid to upper 60s today. Partly cloudy skies prevail for Metro Tucson, accompanied by a few sprinkles. Areas south and east of Tucson stand a 10% chance of showers this afternoon as a weak trough moves across the state.
Another round of isolated showers may develop outside of Tucson tomorrow as the trough exits Arizona. Highs Friday reach the low 70s with spotty sprinkles again possible in the Old Pueblo.
High pressure building over the Pacific coast drives a warming trend for the start of April. This weekend sees the mercury peak in the low to mid 80s under sunny skies. Monday and Tuesday of next week features highs in the low 90s, running roughly 10° above average.
