A twin billing of rain chances over the next 7 days.

High pressure drives a sunny & warm start to the work week. Expect a daily run at the 90s this afternoon through Wednesday, as high temps run roughly 10° above average. Overnight lows bottom out in the low 50s for Metro Tucson.

Rain chance #1 arrives late Thursday into Friday, courtesy of a low pressure trough developing off Baja California. A few showers may pop up Thursday evening, increasing to the scattered variety Friday. By Sunday, a 2nd storm system swings in from California. This feature could develop a second round of scattered showers for the 2nd half of the weekend.

Daytime highs by late week drop to the upper 70s to low 80s, while Sunday’s high maxes out in the mid 70s.
