Cloud cover increases ahead of a low pressure trough off Baja California. Partly cloudy skies prevail the next few afternoons with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. Daytime temperatures run roughly 10° above average for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Much of Thursday features mostly cloudy skies. Isolated showers may break out late in the day through the evening hours. A better chance of scattered showers is possible early on Friday as the trough swings through the state. Highs Friday drop to the upper 70s.
Models continue to indicate a second storm system arriving this weekend. Scattered showers return Sunday, along with daytime highs running 5-10° below average. Up to 0.30” rain is possible for Metro Tucson between both storm systems.
