FORECAST DISCUSSION

A typical mid-April afternoon on tap.

High pressure slowly slides over the state to start the week. As a result, ample sunshine wins out as highs reach the low 80s. Daytime highs trend warmer over the next few afternoons, eventually reaching the low 90s by Wednesday.

A developing cold front sweeps across the state heading into the weekend. The White Mountains may see a few isolated showers develop Friday and Sunday. Meanwhile in the valley floors, gusty winds are possible Friday and Saturday. Highs range from the low 90s Friday to the low 80s for the second half of the weekend.
