A glimmer of hope for a parched Sonoran Desert.
Late this afternoon features a 10% chance of showers. Daytime highs reach the mid to upper 80s, running 4-6° below average. Isolated showers may continue through the overnight hours as lows bottom out in the low 60s.
A low pressure trough sweeping across the state keeps slight shower chances in the forecast tomorrow. Areas north and west of Tucson stand the best chance, with showers decreasing after lunchtime. Highs Wednesday peak in the mid 80s.
Warmer weather returns to round out the week. An approaching storm system brings back gusty winds Friday into the weekend. Blowing dust is anticipated again along I-10 near San Simon.
