Moisture interacts with a low pressure trough to produce isolated storms today. Tucson stands a 20% chance of thunder this afternoon & early this evening. Pinal, Graham and Greenlee Counties stand the best chance of storms today. Activity decreases after sunset.
Highs Wednesday afternoon reach the mid 80s, running 6-8° below average for late May.
Sunshine, warmer temps and gusty winds return to the forecast as early as Friday. A Pacific storm system passes through the Great Basin, keeping breezes elevated through the weekend. Daytime highs peak in the low 90s Friday and Saturday, followed by temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s early next week.
