Feeling like late September a month early.
Dry air continues to filter in to southern Arizona. This shuts down valley storm chances this afternoon, as daytime highs run a few degrees below average. An isolated storm or two can’t be ruled out in the mountains today.
Isolated valley storms may return tomorrow through early next week. Rain chances range from 10% Wednesday to 20% Friday & Saturday. Limiting the thunder threat is an area of high pressure off Baja California; a pattern not favorable for widespread storm development.
High temperatures reach the mid to upper 90s over the next several days.
