Expect a 30% chance of afternoon & early evening showers. Mostly cloudy skies are on tap today as daytime highs run 3-5° below average. Partly cloudy skies prevail overnight with lows dropping to the 60s and 70s.
Lingering moisture interacts with a new storm system to wrap up the work week. Isolated shower chances remain in the forecast tomorrow through Friday. Along with the slight rain chance, this second storm system also provides cooler temperatures. Highs range from the low 90s Wednesday to the upper 80s Friday into the weekend.
Nighttime lows this weekend bottom out in the low 60s for Metro Tucson, running well below average for late September.
