FORECAST DISCUSSION

Temperatures trending down as a Pacific storm system approaches.

A cold front advances toward the state over the next 72 hours. Highs peak in the low to mid 90s the next few days with a 10% chance of metro showers. Rain chances increase to 20% late Thursday night into Friday morning, followed by dry conditions for the Old Pueblo Friday afternoon.

While most places stay dry to wrap up the work week, the desert cools down for the first weekend of Fall. Highs range from the mid 80s Friday to the upper 80s Saturday through early next week. Nighttime lows bottom out in the upper 50s to low 60s this weekend.
