Metro Tucson stands a 30% chance of storms between 12-6 PM. Storm coverage across southern Arizona isn’t expected to be as widespread as yesterday. This is thanks in part to dry air sliding in from the southwest. Afternoon highs peak in the low 90s.
A stray shower may linger through 8 PM, followed by mostly clear skies overnight. Lows bottom out in the mid 60s.
The first weekend of October starts with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 90s. An approaching cold front from the Pacific Northwest may trigger a passing shower on Sunday. Gusty winds & cooler temps prevail early next week. Highs drop to the low to mid 80s Tuesday and Wednesday, accompanied by overnight lows in the 50s.
