Friday features mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 90s. Areas along the International Border may see a few isolated storms this afternoon. By this evening, Metro Tucson stands a 10% chance of storms. Overnight lows bottom out in the upper 60s.
An approaching Baja storm system triggers scattered storms tomorrow. Expect a 40% chance of thunder along and east of a Casa Grande-Sells line. Primary threats tomorrow’s activity may contain includes gusty winds over 40 MPH, small hail and locally heavy rainfall. High temps peak in the upper 80s.
Drier weather commences next week as high pressure settles in over the Desert Southwest. This pattern brings a warming trend, with low to mid 90s in the forecast as soon as Sunday.
