High pressure drives afternoon temps into the mid 90s to start the work week. Mostly sunny skies are on tap statewide, accompanied by light west winds. Overnight lows bottom out in the low to mid 60s for Metro Tucson, which is also running above average for mid-October.
The only weather of significance this week is a weak trough that sweeps across the state Thursday. This knocks highs down to the low 90s in the Old Pueblo. Expect upper 50s for nighttime lows Thursday and Friday.
Mid 90s return to the forecast in time for the upcoming weekend.
