High pressure east of the state drives afternoon temps into the mid 90s today. Mostly sunny skies are expected this afternoon, followed by clear skies overnight. Lows bottom out in the low 60s for Metro Tucson, which is typical for mid-October.
The only weather of significance this week is a weak trough that sweeps across the state Thursday. This knocks highs down to the low 90s in the Old Pueblo. Upper 50s to low 60s are in the forecast for lows the next several nights. Highs return to the mid 90s early next week.
