FORECAST DISCUSSION

Fall weather continues to be MIA this week.

High pressure builds west of the state. The net effect for southern Arizona is ample sunshine and highs 7-9° above average this afternoon. Expect a string of low 90s for daytime highs through the upcoming weekend.

Overnight lows the next several nights drops to the upper 50s to low 60s under clear skies.

Gusty winds arrive late this week, as a storm system passes east of the state. 20-30 MPH wind gusts are possible Thursday and Friday.
