TODAY’S BEAMISH BLOGCAST
THE CLIFF NOTES
Today – Sunny. 91°, northwest wind 5-10 MPH.
Tonight – Clear. 61°, southeast wind 5-10 MPH.
Tomorrow – Sunny & breezy. 93°, east wind 15-25 MPH.
Yesterday marked the 12th straight day at or above 90° in Tucson. We’ll keep adding to the warm stretch.
High pressure off the West Coast drives the mercury 6-8° above average today. Daytime temps range from the 60s in the Sky Islands to the low 90s in Metro Tucson. Lows overnight bottom out in the upper 50s to low 60s.
A cold front parks east of the state to wrap the work week, serving to crank up the breezes. Expect easterly winds up to 25 MPH Thursday into early Friday, with lighter winds prevailing after lunchtime Friday afternoon.
While the breezes go away for the weekend, the 90s will not. Abnormal Autumn warmth continues well into next week with plenty of sunshine.
