Tomorrow – Mostly sunny. 90°, west-northwest wind 5-10 MPH.
Abnormal warmth to wrap up October.
Highs this afternoon reach the 90s for the 18th straight day. This would make for the 5th longest October 90s streak on record for Tucson, tied with 1954. An isolated shower or storm can’t be ruled out today. Clearing skies prevail overnight as lows bottom out in the low 60s.
The heat remains on the rest of the week, courtesy of high pressure expanding over the state. Ample sunshine is expected starting tomorrow. Record highs are possible Thursday through the first half of the weekend. Temperatures max out in the mid to upper 90s for the Old Pueblo, running 10-15° above average for late October.
