Today’s forecast high of 94° would match the old record set in 2007. Partly cloudy skies dominate most of the day, with some clearing expected by late afternoon. Nighttime lows bottom out in the low 60s for Metro Tucson under mostly clear skies.
This weekend features plenty of heat, as temperatures run 10-12° above average. Afternoon highs will come close to record levels, but much of southern Arizona will avoid rewriting weather history.
