Afternoon highs peak in the upper 80s. Temperatures today run 7-9° above average for late October. By this evening, temperatures drop from the mid 80s at 5 PM to mid 70s around 8 PM. Nighttime lows eventually bottom out in the low 60s.
An approaching cold front knocks daytime highs to the low 80s tomorrow through the rest of the week. This storm system also supplies gusty winds and isolated showers Thursday. Drier conditions prevail Friday into the upcoming weekend.
