Wednesday’s Tucson Forecast: Cranking up the Sonoran Wind Machine

Today – Mostly sunny, breezy. 79°, east-southeast wind 15-30 MPH.

Tonight – Clear, breezy. 57°, east-southeast wind 15-30 MPH.

Tomorrow – Mostly sunny, breezy. 77°, east wind 10-20 MPH.

Gusty winds dominate the forecast over the next 48 hours.

Low pressure stalled south of Arizona cranks up the breezes. Expect east-southeast winds in the 15-30 MPH range this afternoon through the first half of Thursday. Daytime highs peak in the upper 70s under mostly sunny skies, while lows bottom out in the mid to upper 50s.

Breezes begin to relax after lunchtime tomorrow, as the storm system weakens and pushes off to the east.

The upcoming weekend features ample sunshine and highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Temperatures over the next 7 days run roughly 3-6° above average for mid November standards.
