FORECAST DISCUSSION

Perfect weather as we honor those who served our fine country.

Sunshine and lighter winds prevail this afternoon. Expect easterly winds in the 5-15 MPH range today as highs peak in the upper 70s. Overnight lows drop to the low to mid 50s metro-wide under clear skies.

High pressure emerges from the Pacific over the weekend, driving a warming trend. Afternoon temps peak in the upper 70s Saturday, climbing to the low to mid 80s early next week. Models hint at a cold front clipping northern Arizona next Thursday, which would knock our temperatures back to more seasonable levels.
