Highs this afternoon run 2-4° below average. Metro Tucson peaks in the mid to upper 60s under sunny skies. Lows overnight range from the low 30s in southeast Cochise County to the low 40s in the Old Pueblo.
Emerging from the Pacific is a ridge of high pressure. This feature drives a strong warming trend in time for Thanksgiving. Afternoon highs reach the mid to upper 70s Wednesday through the first half of the weekend. Lots of sunshine and light winds prevail during this timeframe.
Models are starting to show some changes early next week, courtesy of an approaching storm system. Cloud cover increases Sunday, while daytime highs Monday struggle to max out in the low 60s.
