A large serving of Autumn warmth for Thanksgiving Day.

Highs run 6-8° above average for the holiday. Metro Tucson peaks in the upper 70s under mostly sunny skies. Lows overnight bottom out in the upper 40s as high cloud cover exits the state.

Much of the long holiday weekend looks warm as high pressure resides near the state. Daytime highs reach the upper 70s Friday and Saturday.

Cloud cover increases Saturday and Sunday, in advance of a Pacific storm system. Gusty winds kick up Sunday afternoon with afternoon temps in the mid 60s. There is a 60% chance of valley rain & snow down to 3,500 feet late Sunday night through early Monday. The early call for precip totals looks to be up to 0.30″ rain for the lower elevations, with Mount Lemmon could pick up 3-6″ of snow. Showers gradually decrease Monday afternoon.

Cold air settles in behind the cold front. Highs Monday and Tuesday struggle to reach the mid to upper 50s, while overnight lows crash to the low to mid 30s in Metro Tucson.
