Got freeze fatigue? Relief’s in sight for the Old Pueblo.

Daytime highs rise to the mid 60s this afternoon with mostly sunny skies. Low temps begin to moderate overnight. Much of Metro Tucson bottoms out in the mid 30s to start Friday.

An approaching storm system looks poised to increase winds to start the weekend. Expect gusty east winds Saturday as highs reach the low 60s. There is a 20% chance of showers in Tucson, with areas east of the Old Pueblo standing the best chance of seeing valley rain/snow above 5,000 feet. Drier conditions return by Sunday.

Partly cloudy skies prevail for much of next week. High temperatures look to remain in the 60s, while lows stay well above the freezing mark in Tucson.
