TODAY’S BEAMISH BLOGCAST
THE CLIFF NOTES
Today – Partly cloudy. 65°, northwest wind 5 MPH.
Tonight – Decreasing clouds. 42°, southeast wind 5 MPH.
Tomorrow – Mostly sunny. 69°, north wind 5 MPH.
After spending a few days in the 70s, temperatures briefly return to December reality.
Departing to the east is a weak cold front. Under partly cloudy skies, temperatures this afternoon reach the mid 60s in Tucson. Highs today run a degree or two below average for this time of year. Lows overnight bottom out in the upper 30s to low 40s as skies gradually clear.
High pressure builds in from the west heading into the weekend, driving a winter warming trend. Daytime temperatures approach the low to mid 70s Friday through early next week. Models indicate a jet stream propped well north of the state for the foreseeable future, keeping any weather of significance well away from the Sonoran Desert.
