A cold front sweeps across the state the next 24 hours. Expect gusty winds up to 30 MPH and a 20% chance of showers Friday afternoon. Rain chances increasing to 70% Friday night into early Saturday. Rain & snow above 6,000 feet tapers off late Saturday morning.
Valley floors should generally see less than 0.30″ rain from this front. Snowfall totals for Mount Lemmon look to be in the 2-4″ range. A Winter Weather Advisory is out for the White Mountains of Graham and Greenlee Counties tonight, where 4-8″ snow is possible.
High temperatures this weekend run 15-20° cooler than this afternoon. Widespread freezing temperatures are on tap for much of Southern Arizona Sunday morning. Afternoon temperatures next week peak in the 60s.
