FORECAST DISCUSSION

Winter warmth’s on its last leg as a few changes arrive this week.

Highs reach the upper 70s this afternoon. Cloud cover increases through the daytime hours, ahead of a weak storm system. This feature may touch off isolated snow showers for the White Mountains overnight. Dry conditions prevail for the rest of Southern Arizona.

Expect partly cloudy skies tomorrow through Thursday as highs top out in the upper 60s/low 70s.

Models hint at an approaching storm system later this week. There is a 30% chance of valley rain/mountain snow Friday, decreasing to 10% Saturday. Daytime highs only peak in the low 60s heading into the upcoming weekend, while nighttime lows bottom out in the upper 30s/low 40s.
