Expect a mix of sun and clouds the next few days. Afternoon highs reach the upper 60s to low 70s this afternoon through Thursday. Nighttime lows bottom out in the mid 40s.
A storm system developing in the Pacific looks poised to move in this weekend. Friday features a few isolated showers, with rain chances increasing Saturday through early Sunday. Southern Arizona could pick up 0.30-0.70″ rain in this timeframe, while 6-12″ snow is possible above 7,000 feet. It should be noted that these figures are subject to change as this storm system is several days away.
Temperatures struggle to reach the low 60s this weekend. Lows crash to the upper 30s to low 40s for Metro Tucson Saturday and Sunday.
