Tuesday’s Tucson Forecast: Wind, dust issues again




Today – 30% chance of showers, breezy. 67°, west-southwest wind 15-25 MPH.

Tonight – Clearing. 42°, southeast wind 5 MPH.

Tomorrow – Sunny. 70°, northwest wind 5-10 MPH.


Another day with gusty winds and patchy blowing dust.

Expect west-southwest winds in the 15-25 MPH range through late day. Blowing dust is possible along I-10 east of Willcox, where visibility may be reduced to less than a mile at times. Click here for tips on what to do if caught driving in a dust storm.

Metro Tucson stands a 30% chance of showers through early this afternoon. The bulk of the rain/mountain snow today stays confined to Pinal, Graham and Greenlee Counties. Drier conditions prevail late this afternoon for much of Southern Arizona.

Highs today reach the upper 60s, followed by lows in the low 40s for Metro Tucson. A warming trend commences tomorrow through the upcoming weekend.
