Wednesday’s Tucson Forecast: A break from the breezes

Today – Sunny. 70°, north wind 5-10 MPH.

Tonight – Clear. 45°, southeast wind 5-10 MPH.

Tomorrow – Sunny, breezy. 77°, east wind 10-20 MPH.

March comes in like a lamb for the Old Pueblo.

Ample sunshine and light winds rule this afternoon. Daytime highs peak in the low 70s in Tucson, running close to early March normals. Nighttime lows bottom out in the mid 40s.

Thursday and Friday feature a return of gusty winds, courtesy of a storm system passing south of the state. Expect easterly wind gusts around 20 MPH across Southern Arizona. The blowing dust threat along I-10 east of Willcox could be decreased, as the wind direction may push any dust parallel to the road.

Daytime highs to wrap the week peak in the upper 70s to low 80s. Gusty winds take a break on Saturday, but could redevelop Sunday & Monday.
