TODAY’S BEAMISH BLOGCAST

Tomorrow – Mostly sunny. 89°, west wind 10-15 MPH.

FORECAST DISCUSSION

For the 8th and possibly final straight day, the Old Pueblo reaches the 90° mark.

High pressure cranks the mercury toward May levels again. Today’s forecast high of 94° would break the old record of 92° set back in 1997. Ample sunshine is expected on this first day of Spring.

At long last, a pattern change is on the way. By the middle of the week, a cold front advances toward the state. Clouds and winds increase Wednesday, followed by scattered showers Thursday morning. Showers taper to the isolated variety Thursday afternoon as highs struggle to reach the upper 60s.

Models hint at a second cold front passing through Northern Arizona this weekend. Highs range from the mid 80s Saturday to the mid 70s Sunday.
