Tomorrow – Mostly sunny, breezy. 86°, west wind 10-20 MPH.

A brief break from the breezes this afternoon.

Sunshine and seasonably warm temps take over. Metro Tucson reaches the upper 70s today. Expect northwest winds around 10-15 MPH during the daytime hours, decreasing to 5-10 MPH out of the southeast tonight.

The Sonoran Wind Machine starts to crank up tomorrow, courtesy of an approaching cold front from the Pacific Northwest. Westerly wind gusts around 20-25 MPH develop Thursday through Saturday. Highs range from the mid 80s tomorrow to the low 70s for the first half of the weekend.

Enough moisture may be in play to form a few showers Saturday. Rain chances range from 10% in the Old Pueblo to 30% across Cochise County.

Winds calm down Sunday afternoon. Long range models indicate a new storm system for the upcoming work week may kick up the breezes again Monday and Tuesday.
