A cold front passes through northern Arizona today. As a result, gusty west-southwest winds develop after lunchtime. 15-25 MPH gusts are possible through midnight as afternoon highs peak in the low 80s.
Tuesday’s high temperatures drop roughly 5° behind the front. Metro Tucson hits the mid to upper 70s tomorrow under mostly sunny skies.
High pressure emerges across the Western U.S. mid to late week, driving an April warming trend. Models hint at low 90s Thursday and Friday in the Old Pueblo. A storm system cranks up the winds again for the upcoming weekend.
