FORECAST DISCUSSION

Sunshine and warmth wins the week.

High pressure gradually builds in from the Pacific. Afternoon temperatures peak in the mid 80s today, running a few degrees above normal. Highs return to the low 90s as soon as tomorrow.

Low 90s and light winds prevail through the first half of the upcoming Easter weekend. By Sunday, a weak storm system clips the northwestern corner of the state. The net result for the Sonoran Desert is a slight cool-down, as highs top out in the upper 80s.

Nighttime lows the next several nights bottom out in the 50s for Metro Tucson.
