TODAY’S BEAMISH BLOGCAST
THE CLIFF NOTES
Today – Sunny & breezy. 89°, west-southwest wind 10-20 MPH.
Tonight – Clear. 56°, southeast wind 5-10 MPH.
Tomorrow – Sunny. 88°, west wind 5-10 MPH.
The Sonoran Wind Machine cranks up, but only for a limited time.
Expect west-southwest winds gusting as high as 20 MPH this afternoon. This is in response to an increased pressure gradient, as Arizona is stuck between high pressure in Mexico and a storm system up north. Daytime highs reach the upper 80s under sunny skies today.
Breezes take a break for Easter weekend. Plenty of sunshine is anticipated tomorrow and Sunday. Afternoon temperatures peak in the upper 80s to low 90s, which is 6-9° above mid-April normals.
The warm weather pattern remains stuck in Southern Arizona next week. Highs for the first half of the upcoming work week top out in the upper 80s to low 90s. Nighttime lows bottom out in the mid to upper 50s.
