So far in 2017, the Old Pueblo has reached the triple digit mark twice. That will change in the coming days.
High pressure brings a return of 100° temperatures starting this afternoon. Through Wednesday, Tucson should reach the 100-101° range under sunny skies. Winds the next few days will be around 10-15 MPH, mainly prevailing out of the west-northwest.
Overnight lows dip to the mid to upper 60s across Metro Tucson.
A storm system skirts north of the state by the end of the work week. This feature returns gusty winds as soon as Thursday. Breezes remain elevated on Friday before dropping off for Memorial Day weekend. Late week highs range from the upper 90s Thursday to the low to mid 90s Friday through the weekend.
