Thursday’s Tucson Forecast: How will morning storms impact today’s forecast?

The Old Pueblo’s waking up to a Monsoon morning.

Storm chances later today will be highly dependent on how quickly morning clouds burn off. There is a 30% chance of redeveloping scattered storms. Primetime for metro thunder looks to be 3-9 PM.

Daytime highs peak in the upper 90s, running 4-6° cooler than yesterday.

Storms may be more miss than hit to wrap up the work week, as Tucson stands a 20% chance of thunder on Friday. Models continue to indicate an active Monsoon weekend, with scattered storms possible each day. Saturday features a 50% chance of storms, decreasing to 40% by Sunday.

The Monsoon may quiet down some early next week. Isolated hit & miss storms return Monday through Wednesday with highs in the upper 90s.
